Kristy (she/her) brings over two decades of expertise in strategic communications, showcasing a consistent ability to distill complex issues and effectively convey them to targeted audiences, driving impactful results. With a diverse professional background spanning various sectors and services, including small businesses, public-sector entities, consumer packaged goods, not-for-profit organizations, and consulting, Kristy has adeptly synthesized and utilized data to craft compelling communications that inspire action and foster change.
Her extensive experience in executive-level roles has honed her skill in identifying core issues and opportunities, and collaborating with integrated teams to formulate comprehensive plans. Grounded in her passion for organizational development, Kristy is particularly drawn to offering clients valuable insights, analysis, and recommendations derived from employee-related data.
Kristy has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta, a French language certificate from Laval University, a Masters in Business Administration from Queen’s University and a Masters Certificate in Organization Development from York University. She's worked on brands such as Plan International Canada, Coca-Cola, Hill & Knowlton Strategies, IKEA, Canadian Cancer Society, Mazda Canada, Alberta Education and more.
Her work in international development (human rights, gender equity) and love of culture and languages have taken her to over 50 countries. Kristy was born in Edmonton, lived in Toronto for 15 years and is currently residing in the northern Sunshine Coast of B.C. in the qathet region, on the traditional territory of the Tla’amin Nation.
